Electrical Technician

Location: Golden Pass LNG Facility, Port Arthur, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time | 4x10s Schedule (Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | On-Call Rotation Required
Pay Rate: Ranges from $33 to $38 based on years of experience

Brahma Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance team at the Golden Pass LNG facility in Port Arthur, TX. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an electrician.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Experience in new construction electrical work.
• Not required, but possessing an electrical wiring knowledge and a Journeyman license are a significant advantage.
Schedule & Work Conditions:
• Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call duties on a rotating basis
• Must be flexible and willing to work overtime
• This is a safety-sensitive position

Jeff has essential experience in project controls and focuses on real-time tracking to provide the desired outcome to both the company and the client. His experience on both the Owner’s side as well as the contractor’s side has given him invaluable knowledge of management and the execution cycle.

Craig Rucker

VP of Operations

Meet Craig, a seasoned leader with over 26 years of management experience and technical expertise. His areas of specialization encompass a wide range of industry sectors, including project management, industrial facilities maintenance, plant maintenance, building and equipment structures, and construction management consultation.

Craig is certified in heavy rigging, with extensive experience in equipment removal and installation. His expertise extends to structural detailing, fabrication, erection, and installation. He also excels in conveyor system installation and maintenance, infrastructure improvements, capital project construction, bidding, estimating, and process piping and demolition.

Before joining Brahma, Craig honed his skills at Bell Steel, Inc. and Milling Machinery, Inc. His construction career, which began in the residential industry, eventually led him to industrial maintenance where he performed all aspects of millwright work. Craig’s commitment to continuous learning is evident in his completion of the ASU Alliance for Construction Excellence Project Management Course. He holds an OSHA 510 certification, a certification of completion in the Program of Project Management, and is trained in Auto CAD and Structural Steel detailing. With his vast experience and multitude of certifications, Craig brings a unique blend of leadership, technical acumen, and industry knowledge to his role.

Chris Rich

Chris Rich has served as Chief Executive Officer of Brahma Group since February 2026. Chris is the Chief Operating Officer of the JT THORPE Group. He brings over 16 years of experience in industrial construction, having joined JT THORPE in 2012 as a Project Engineer in the company’s Large Projects Group.

Over the years, Chris has held several key leadership positions, including Operations Manager, Regional Manager, Director, Vice President, and President of JT Thorpe & Son, Inc., the Group’s largest subsidiary. In each role, he built and led high-performing teams focused on delivering high-value solutions with world-class safety and quality standards. His project experience spans complex industrial outages, turnarounds, and capital projects ranging in scale from $1,000 to over $100 million.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He is known for bringing operational excellence, a process-driven mindset, and a lead-by-example approach to every role he takes on.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time at the shore with family and friends — especially his four nieces — and is an avid supporter of his hometown Philadelphia sports teams.
