Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to wiring, conduit and electronic control systems.  Identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in electric wiring that occur in an industrial setting. Run tests, isolate problems, replace faulty sections of wiring, and lay conduit.  Must follow state and local building codes and the National Electrical Code.  Read blueprints and understand the locations of circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipment.  Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components and systems.
