In April of 2014 Brahma received a contract to install the mechanical components for a foundry production line at the Tyler Union Foundry in Anniston, Alabama. The project was a 3 month project for the Italian equipment manufacturer Impianti Macchine Fonderia (IMF), and consisted of the installation of state of the art automated foundry equipment.
Equipment installations included roller tracks, conveyors, transfer cars, cyclone separators, vibrating tables, resin tanks, mixers, several miscellaneous pieces of equipment, and process piping interconnections. The project demonstrated Brahma’s ability to install equipment of varying applications and processes in an efficient manner meeting the expectations of both the manufacturer and the owner. The Tyler Union Foundry installation qualified Brahma to become a preferred installation contractor for mechanical and electrical components supplied by IMF to facilities around the globe. The project completed safely, on time and within budget.
