David W. Miller
Chief Executive Officer
In addition to serving as Brahma’s CEO, David serves as Chairman of the Board for Brahma, and as President to Brahma’s parent company, Terra Millennium Corporation.
David has been involved in plant operations and management for over 25 years. Prior to joining Brahma in 2002, David was a Territory Manager for JT Thorpe & Son, Inc. where he managed client relationships within his territory, negotiated new contracts and supervised the execution of projects. He also served as the Assistant Plant Manager of Operations and Maintenance at Geneva Steel.
He currently oversees the operations of Terra Millennium Corporation along with its five national and international subsidiaries. During David’s time as CEO, Brahma has received multiple safety awards and best project recognitions throughout the US.
During his career, David has served as a board member to the American Institute of Steel Engineers and as President to the American Institute of Plant Engineers. He has been recognized for establishing best practices and efficiency models in the mechanical, steel and refractory industries. David earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University where he studied Physical Plant Administration with an emphasis in organizational behavior.
President & Chief Operating Officer
Sean Davis serves as President and Chief Operating Officer at Brahma. Sean co-founded Brahma when he saw the opportunity to create a full-service industrial construction company focused on providing innovative construction services that improve the efficiency of every client.
The vision for Brahma began with the idea of creating a company that could self-perform nearly every industrial construction service while focusing on long-term customer relationships and creating value as business partners. Sean was among the handful of employees who managed Brahma’s first job at the Kennecott Copper Mine in 2002, paving the beginning to an extraordinary reputation.
Prior to Brahma, Sean was a Project Manager at Brahma’s sister company JT Thorpe & Son, Inc. where he oversaw various maintenance projects across the nation. Sean has over 20 years of experience serving the heavy industrial industry with expertise in developing viable and cost-effective solutions while meeting budgets and promoting safe and productive work areas. At Brahma Sean is responsible for day to day operations including strategic planning for growth, and the execution of short- and long-range goals. Sean’s role has been substantial to Brahma’s significant growth which has produced eleven offices in eight different states serviced by over 1,500 employees.
Sean is a licensed contractor in fifteen states. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Brigham Young University and his MBA from Idaho State University.
Executive Vice President of Operations
Mike has over 33 years of construction expertise on both the owner and contractor side of operations. At Brahma, he oversees the daily operations and a broad range of complex projects throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Louisiana, Texas and Kansas.
Prior to Brahma, Mike was Plant Manager at Geneva Steel, responsible for an annual operating budget over $400M. While at Geneva, he was responsible for the production and maintenance of the plant as well as the coordination of 1800 employees.
Mike has vast experience in quality control, labor relations, logistics, procurement, finance, forecasting, planning and marketing. With concurrent projects throughout the US, Mike has successfully managed technical operations while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety. The ability to implement continuous improvement throughout his team, combined with his overall expertise, has led Mike to become a prominent specialist in the industry.
Mike is a licensed Journeyman and General Contractor and has served on the American Iron & Steel Institute’s Technical Committee for Coke Making. He received his Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Certificate from Utah Technical College and attended Brigham Young University where he studied Business Management.
Vice President & General Counsel
With more than 25 years serving the construction industry, David has extensive experience in commercial and industrial litigation. As General Counsel, he manages Brahma’s legal, litigation and regulatory affairs. As Vice President, he manages a diverse team and oversees operations of the Safety, Manpower, Human Resource, Marketing and Public Relations groups.
Prior to joining Brahma, David was a Partner at the national law firm Holland & Hart practicing construction industry counsel. Prior to Holland & Hart, David began his legal career at Parsons, Behle & Latimer. David is an active member of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry, and the board of the Utah Mining Association. During his professional career, David earned multiple honors including the Associated General Contractors Committee Chairperson of the Year.
David earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics cum laude from the University of Utah. He earned his MBA from the University of Washington, graduating in the top 10% of his class. He then graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctorate Degree from Cornell University.
Director of Operations
Prior to joining Brahma, Ryan served as Regional Manager at Brahma’s sister company, JT Thorpe & Son, Inc. As Regional Manager, Ryan oversaw over 200 projects per year, responsible for client relations, contracts, contract negotiations, safety performance business development and operations.
At Brahma, Ryan currently serves as Director of Operations where he oversees the operations of seven different business units serving the mining, refining, and oil & gas industries.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah in Mechanical Engineering.
